On June 23, 2015, dozens of Cara’s closest friends and family came together to witness the unveiling of the brand new Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at the University of Maryland Medical Center Children’s Hospital.

Just last month Lema J Design celebrated her first major milestone. As often happens during the course of an entire year, much has changed, grown and expanded since the company’s inaugural months.

Yesterday, October 27th, was Lema J Design’s one year anniversary. Thank you to everyone who has continually supported us throughout this incredible journey. It has been a wonderfully empowering adventure so far, and we are excited to see what the next year has in store!

Ethan Brown and Andrew Minkin, seniors at The McDonogh School, took the initiative to create Textbooks For the Cure, a foundation that collects textbook donations for Karma For Cara and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
